<p>PURPOSE:To improve each durability of a face body which can easily secure the fixation strength with a ball hitting tool body, dimension precision, and quality and permits mass production and an elastic core body which can easily design the spring constant for the harmonization with the deformation of a ball. CONSTITUTION:A face body 10 consists of an outer shell body 11 in a hollow structure having a shape conforming to a recessed place 2 formed on the ball striking face part of a club head body 1 and an elastic core body 12 which is formed integrally inside. The outer shell body consists of the front shell part 11a on the ball striking face side and a rear shell part 11b having an injection inlet 11c for an elastic core body material, and the front and rear shell parts of the outer shell body are divided by a cut slit 14 so that the front shell part can move in the ball striking direction for the head body as a whole. The cut slit is formed over the whole periphery of the outer shell body after the integral shaping of the elastic core body.</p> |
