<p>PURPOSE:To monitor combustion of embers of dust in the hopper of an elastic dust collector by providing an SOX gauge and/or a CO gauge respectively detecting SOX concentration and/or CO concentration of exhaust gas in the hopper of the electric dust collector provided in the flue of a combustion furnace and providing a recording device for recording a change of the detection value in the elapse of time. CONSTITUTION:A monitor for the state of dust in the hopper of an electric dust collector is provided with one or a plurality of pieces of SOX gauge and/or CO gauge 13 for detecting SOX concentration and/or CO concentration of exhaust gas in the hopper 19 of the electric dust collector 5 provided in the flue of a combustion furnace 1 and with a recording device 15 for recording a change of the detection value in the elapse of time. One or a plurality of pieces of temperature detectors 14 are provided which detect the temperature in the dust layer deposited in the hopper 19 of the electric dust collector 5. Furthermore, a data processor 15 is provided which pattern-recognizes a change of the detected value in the elapse of time in at least one selected from among the SOX concentration, the CO concentration and the temperature and compares the pattern-recognized change of the detected value in the elapse of time with threshold on the preset pattern recognition. In the case of reaching the value not less than the threshold, e.g. ANN is outputted.</p> |
