PURPOSE:To make the luminance uniform by reducing the difference in luminance between the center part of a light emission part and the part nearby the end part by an irregular reflection inhibition part and also to increase the luminance in cooperation with irregular reflection parts. CONSTITUTION:The light transmission plate device is equipped with a light transmission plate 11 which has a light emission surface 11a as one surface and a reflecting surface 11b as the other surface and is provided with the irregular reflection part 19 in dispersed dots on the reflecting surface 11b so that the irregular reflection parts 19 irregularly reflect light made incident from the end surface 12 of the light transmission plate 11 to make the side of the light emission surface 11a illuminates; and the irregular reflection inhibition part 20 which has no irregular reflection part is provided at the end part of the end surface 17 other than the incidence-side end surface 12 of the light transmission plate 11. Further, paint for reflection is preferably applied as an irregular reflection part 18 over the end surface 17.
