<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operation performance related to the retrieval by instructing a stop of switching of a screen in the course of executing a switching display of a retrieval screen at a high speed, reducing displayed screen data, and plural image data displayed before this screen data is displayed, and executing discretely its table display on a two-dimensional plane. CONSTITUTION:In the case a stop is instructed by an instructing part 1, a page managing part 3 stops updating of a present display page pointer, holds a page pointer of a stopped page number, and traces back from the page pointer at the time of stop based on the stored direction, stores the page number of a reduced screen number portion which can be displayed in a reduced display position, and informs it to a reading-out part 6. The reading-out part 6 reads out image data from an accumulating part 4, based on its notice, and sends it out to a table display part 7. The table display part 7 executes a reduction processing of the received image data, executes an editing processing as one screen and sends it out to a display switching part 5, and the display switching part 5 switches a signal to a display part 9 to a signal from the table display part 7.</p> |
