PURPOSE:To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell in which a gas leak is prevented and the breakage of a unit cell is eliminated even after operation and stop are repeated. CONSTITUTION:Unit cells 1 each of which has a cathode and an anode on both sides of a solid electrolyte and middle separator 10 are mutually stacked, and a top separator 30 and a bottom separator 40 are installed to fabricate a fuel cell. A sealant 20 is arranged between the unit cell 1 and the middle separator 10, between the unit cell 1 and the top separator 30, between the unit cell 1 and the bottom separator 40, and in the surroundings of the fuel cell. The material of the sealant 20 is a composite of ceramic fibers and glass. |
