<p>Output or connection boxes for busbars in low-voltage busbar distributors with a metal housing which is divided into a device chamber and a connection chamber by a partition are to be made suitable for various busbar channel widths. In addition, the inside space is to be easily accessible during assembly so that the output box is suitable for the incorporation of securing and protective devices and heavy currents. This is attained in that the output or connection box consists of a base section (2) which is open at the sides before assembly and is adapted to the width of the busbar channel or the number of busbars therein, the output or connection box has a cover enclosing the open sides of the base section which is at least as wide as the base section and has a degree of protection and width corresponding to the requirements. When the cover is wider than the base section, covering sections are fitted between the cover and the base section.</p> |
