A letter weighing device comprises an elongate member (1) having upper and lower elongate surfaces. The upper elongate surface supports two spaced apart and substantially parallel resilient ribs (2) extending longitudinally along the elongate member (1) so as to define a recess (3) therebetween. Each of the ribs (2) is upwardly inclined towards the other. A fulcrum member (15) is slidably mounted upon the upper surface of the elongate member (1) between the ribs (2). The fulcrum member (15) is provided with a handle (16, 17) by means of which the device can be supported from above. A clip is provided adjacent one end of the elongate member (1) by means of which a letter can be secured to the device so as to be suspended therebeneath. |
