The invention relates to an element for fastening a heating or cooling tube to an insulating plate consisting of a layer of foamed plastic and, if necessary, a more rigid or firmer layer, likewise of plastic, arranged thereon, the fastening element being formed from a flexible strip which embraces both the tube body and the region of the layer and/or plate neighbouring the tube body. The flexible strip is equipped at one end with an abutment lock into which the other end of the flexible strip can be inserted such that it catches in the lock.
