Porous film for various applications, produced by spraying, according to Patent Application P 4134704.8-45 (main application). By spraying, a film which has pores can be produced from any adequately dilutable paint or polymer solution. The term solution is to be understood in the broadest sense, and thus also comprises dispersions, emulsions and the like and their mixtures. Accordingly, organic and/or inorganic solvents, including water, can be used in order to bring the polymers into a sprayable form. Particularly environmentally friendly production is achieved by spraying a dispersion for instance onto glass, ceramic, steel, teflon, polyethylene or other adequately smooth primary carriers, the surface of which has repelling properties. Generating the film by spraying makes a large number of modifications possible in a simple way, such as for instance very thin, uniformly open-pored films, films with small, closed pores or thicker films with large, open pores. Furthermore, it is possible in a simple way to apply barrier or colour layers, copyable, extremely hard, flexible and/or conductive layers. If the film is adhesively attached, film, adhesive and permanent carrier can form a single-material/recyclable composition.
