PURPOSE:To dispense with the work of diluting a sample serum, by arranging a first means for feeding a dilution liquid to a sample sucking nozzle, a second means adapted to discharge the sample sucked by the first means and the dilution liquid and suck the sample diluted from a cuvette and a third means for discharging the diluted sample into another cuvette. CONSTITUTION:A syringe 49 for dilution liquids is connected to a microsyringe 41 through a three-way valve 42' and controlled with a driving mechanism 47 independent of the syringe 41 and a pulse motor 48. A program is so prearranged that the amount of a dilution liquid can be inputted into the input sector of a sample volume together with the amount of sampling for each measuring item. As a nozzle 4 lowers into a sample cup, it sucks the sample by the amount inputted by the syringe 41. At the same time, it sucks the dilution liquid 50 by the amount inputted into the syringe 49. As the nozzle 4 lowers into a specified cuvette on a reaction table, the syringes 41 and 49 rise (discharge) simultaneously. In this manner, a specified sample serum is discharged into the cuvette. |
