PURPOSE:To achieve mass production of On-Demand type recording ink jetting head of good machinability and high strength without using complicate etching process but simply by pressing a metallic base plate, deforming it plastically and providing it with an ink-flowing groove. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a base plate 201 of a metallic material, preferably of stainless steel, is pressed to develop plastic deformation so that an ink-flowing groove 104 is formed. And then, a small rising section 601 at the top edge of the ink-flowing groove is removed by grinding the base plate surface. A top side plate 202 is joined together onto thus processed base plate 201, and an electrical- mechanical converting element is attached onto a section which is to become an ink chamber 102. |
