PURPOSE:To uniformly and stably produce carbon ultrafine particles, easily control their powder physical properties in high purity, and continuously and massively produce the particles to lower their production cost. CONSTITUTION:A method for producing carbon ultrafine particles comprises mixing a hydrocarbon raw material gas with a photosensitive substance selectively absorbing a laser light having a specific wavelength, irradiating the mixture with the laser light synchronizing with the photosensitive substance, thus decomposing the raw material by the utilization of energy transfer caused by the collision of the excited photosensitive substance with the raw material, and finally recovering the produced carbon ultrafine particles. |
