INVERSE PLACEMENT INSPECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide an inspection device having a simple structure preventing the inverse placement of paper fed on-line or the mixing with a different kind of paper and capable of feeding a normal product to a next process. CONSTITUTION:The image of the pattern in the vicinity of the edge part of paper 5 is taken by a CCD camera 1 to be inputted to an image processing part 2 and the addition of a density value and the calculation of the differential data thereof are performed by the operation part in a CPU 13 and the max. value of the differential data is compared with a preset threshold value in a comparative processing part 15 to judge the presence of the edge part. The processing result is displayed on a monitor television 3 and the feed of paper 5 is stopped at a time of abnormality through a control part 4.
