PRODUCTION OF OLIGOSACCHARIDE HAVING BETA1-6 BOND

摘要

PURPOSE:To easily obtain the subject oligosaccharide in high yield by decomposing chitin in the presence of an extracellular product of a microorganism of the genus Alteromonas. CONSTITUTION:Chitin is decomposed in the presence of an extracellular product of a microorganism of the genus Alteromonas (e.g. Alteromonas OK2607). A beta1 6 N-acetylglucosaminooligosaccharide can be produced without producing a large amount of by-products and a complicate purification process is not necessary after the reaction. The process does not necessitate the use of a large amount of dangerous chemicals such as hydrogen fluoride.
