<p>PURPOSE:To surely detect the end of a tape in two or more kinds of tape cassettes having a different sizes. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a light emitting element 3, a movable light receiving element 4 and a fixed light receiving element 5; and the end of the tape is detected by the movable light receiving element 4 in the case of the small tape cassette and by the fixed light receiving element 5 in the case of the large tape cassette. Thus, the end of the tape is surely detected whichever tape cassette is loaded, the large tape cassette or the small tape cassette.</p> |
