PURPOSE:To simplify the operation related to reference to the other documents by storing the other plural documents. CONSTITUTION:The other document reference mode is set by an input part 1, and desired plural reference documents are stored in a second memory part 6 from a recording medium 4 where reference documents are recorded. A desired reference document out of reference documents in the second memory part is designated and displayed on a display part 7 along with the document which is stored in a first memory part 3 and is in course of generation, and the document is prepared while referring to the other document. When a user desires to refer to another reference document, he return the existing screen to the reference document selection screen by the input part and designates a desired reference document to set the othere document refrence screen. |
