<p>PURPOSE:To provide a separator for a lead-acid battery and a lead-acid battery and a manufacturing method thereof by which high temperature oxidation resistance and a high temperature resistant softening-falling preventive function can be obtained and adhesion between the separator and a plate becomes excellent. CONSTITUTION:A layer 1b formed by carrying inorganic powder (composed of SiO2 of 66.6weight%, Al2O3 of 15.0 weight%, Fe2O3 of 3.9weight%, Na2O of 3.8 weight%, K2O of 2.5 weight%, CaO of 4.7 weight%, MgO of 2.0 weight% and SO4 of not more than 0.1weight%) on cloth paste, is formed on the obverse and the reverse of a Japanese paper sheet 1a. The layer is fixed under close and pressure contact by a negative plate 2 and a positive plate 3.</p> |
