PURPOSE:To provide a process for the cultivation of the sprout of fatsia (Japanese angelica tree) in large quantities at a low cost utilizing hydroponic culture water without causing the falling-down of the bed log of the tree in easily maintainable state and provide a cultivation apparatus of fatsia sprout by closely inserting bed logs of fatsia into a mesh frame placed on the top of a hydroponic culture bed frame. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus is provided with a watertight culture bed frame 12, hydroponic culture water 14 supplied to the culture bed frame 12 and a mesh frame 16 placed on the upper surface of the culture bed frame. A bed log 36 of fatsia is inserted in and supported by each opening of the mesh frame 16 and the sprout 37 of fatsia is grown in the state. The bed log is easily supported in a state resistant to falling down, the installation cost and maintenance cost are saved and fatsia sprout can be produced in large quantities at a low cost. |
