PURPOSE:To produce the resin-coated steel strip which is excellent in lubricity, capable of high working press molding and excellent in post-work coating suitability, particularly in electrodeposition coating and to provide the production method of such a resin-coated steel strip. CONSTITUTION:The resin coating film consisting essentially of the resin which is obtained by incorporating 1.0-20wt.% cold-closslinkable epoxy resin into a urethane resin having an active hydrogen in a molecule and, besides, 0.5-20wt.% spherical polyethylene wax particles and 1-30wt.% chain colloidal silica expressed in terms of SiO2 is formed on the surface of the steel plate in 0.2-3g/cm<2> coverage, and the spherical polyethylene wax particles are kept spherically in the film. |
