Measuring shafts 11 are connected to the frame constructions 22, 23, 24 of the device 10 by means of supporting shafts 17, 19, which measuring shafts 11 can be placed at the desired measuring point for measuring the posture defects, and the device also comprises a member 12 from which the measurement difference between the measuring points can be read off. The invention also relates to a process for measuring posture defects, especially the pelvic position, in which process a measuring device 10 is used and in which process the patient P is placed in a given measuring position and palpation is carried out of the desired measuring points.
