PURPOSE:To generate a musical sound waveform signal having variation adding distortion, etc., to a high band component by using the nonlinear transformation of the signal while increasing the interval feeling and the depth feeling of a musical sound. CONSTITUTION:The kind of a nonlinear function in a nonlinear transformation table 12 is selected by a parameter. A differential is taken by a difference circuit 11 related to inputted waveform data (WAVE) to output the difference data (W1) where the high band component of the waveform data are emphasized. Then, the difference data (W1) is nonlinear transformed by the nonlinear transformation table 12 to output the transformed value data (W2). Then, the summation of the transformed value data (W2) is calculated successively by a summation circuit 13, and the summation data is outputted as the new waveform data where a low band component is emphasized. |
