The present invention relates to an apparatus for smoothing and compacting screed, having a framework (10) comprising longitudinal-side parts (11) and transverse-side parts (12), and having a carriage (20) which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction in said framework. Mounted on the carriage, in the lower region thereof, is a smoothing rail (33) which is made to vibrate by a vibrator (30) and smoothes and compacts the screed. The carriage (20) moves automatically back and forth between the transverse-side parts (12) of the framework (10). The apparatus is designed such that the dismantling required for shifting it and the re-assembly work is possible in an extremely short period of time. <IMAGE> |
