A liquid crystal display panel including: a first substrate (1a) and a second substrate (1b); a plurality of electrodes (2) having a predetermined thickness and being interposed between the first substrate (1a) and the second substrate (1b) so as to maintain the first substrate and the second substrate at a distance defined by the predetermined thickness, the plurality of electrodes (2) extending in a first direction and being disposed parallel to one another; and nematic liquid crystal (4) filled in an interspace created by the plurality of electrodes and the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein an orientation of the nematic liquid crystal is varied by applying a voltage between the adjoining plurality of electrodes.
