PURPOSE:To provide an induction heating type cooking apparatus equipped with functions as a rice boiler and also as a cooking heater by forming the cooking apparatus out of the first heating coil and the second heating coil, furnishing over the first coil a rice boiling deep pan which can be put in and taken out through the front surface, and placing an object to be heated over the second coil. CONSTITUTION:An induction heating type cooking apparatus is composed of the first and second square casings 18a, 18b which have a low height and placed one over another. The lower casing 18a is provided with a rice boiling deep pan 12 and the first heating coil 11 for generating high frequency magnetic field, and the deep pan 12 is made capable of being put in and taken out by a floating mechanism through the front surface of the casing 18a. The upper casing 18b is furnished with the second heating coil 13 for generating high frequency magnetic field, an inverter circuit 15 to supply high frequency curent to the coils 11, 13, and a switching means 16 to switch the inverter output to either of the two coils 11, 13. Between the rice boiling apparatus 12 and the coil 11, a ceramic plate 19 is installed for protecting the coil 11 against the heat of the pan 12, and also ceramic to protect the coil 13 from the heat of an object to be heated 14 is provided on the oversurface of the casing 18b. |
