PURPOSE:To enable optional change of the position of the copy image to be formed on recording material in this carrying direction, by providing means for controlling relative interlocking movement of exposure and scan means, drive means of change retaining material, and carrying means of the recording material. CONSTITUTION:Drive controller 71 operates by start switch 70, and driver 72 start rotation of a photosensitive drum. Interlocking with this, pulse generating disc 73 rotates to generate clock pulse signals, and these signals are counted with counter 77 to be imparted to counter group 78. Each set counter compares the value set in advance with the counted value of counter 77, and on according of them, the counter provides signals to each contoller of controller group 79 to control a copying step, permitting optional change of timing for start of exposure and scan of an original in relation to rotation of the photosensitive drum, and thereby forming a toner image on a desirable position of the recording paper in simple operation. |
