摘要 <p>In prior art processes for adjusting a fuel injection valve, use is made of adjusting components like pins, screws, tubes and sleeves inside the valve, and adjusting tools. This makes heavy demands on the quality of the adjusting components and requires specific handling of the adjusting tools to prevent distortion and soiling. In the novel processes for adjusting the dynamic medium flow rate of a valve, there is a relative movement between at least one guiding component (53) at least partly peripherally surrounding the magnet coil (1) at the circumference of the valve body and the valve body itself. This alters the ratio between the useful and stray magnetic fluxes and hence the magnetic force so that the medium flow rate can be influenced and adjusted. The at least one guiding component (53) is finally secured adhesively (75), by welding (73), clamps or spring-loaded accessories (76). The processes for adjusting a valve are particularly suitable for electromagnetically operable fuel injection valves of compressed-mixture spark-ignition internal combustion engines.</p>
