Drilling device for hard, brittle materials and corresponding drilling method

The subject matter of the invention is a drilling method and a drilling device for hard, brittle materials, in which a core drill (1) is used for abrasion grinding with high speed and high durability. The drilling device contains a tubular core drill (1); a collet (2) for holding the core drill having a hollow main collet body of integral form, a sealing connection (7, 8) provided on the inlet side of the lubricant at the collet (2), a slotted section (13) of the clamping pin type for holding the core drill (1) on the outlet side of the lubricant at the collet, and a sealing section (14) which is provided axially next to the slotted end section (13) and the inside diameter of which essentially corresponds to the outside diameter of the core drill (1) arranged in the sealing section. After the core drill is inserted into the sealing section (14), a fastening nut (6) is firmly screwed onto a threaded section (15) next to the sealing section (14) in order thereby to seal off and fasten the core drill (1). The lubricant is fed at high pressure into a central inner space of the core drill (1), specifically by a device for feeding the lubricant through the inner passage of the core drill.
