The invention relates to a mirror for changing the geometrical shape of a light bundle. This mirror consists of a plurality of specular regions, these regions being strip-shaped segments. An incident light bundle impinges in this arrangement on a plurality of these segments, which are all aligned such that the reflected light bundle of all the segments is imaged on one and the same subregion of an axis. The invention permits the construction of a mirror from a part which provides a laser bundle with a linear beam geometry by means of only one reflection. <IMAGE>
