PURPOSE:To enhance the filtering pressure resistance of a molten thermoplastic resin filter and to ensure a large filtering area. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical filter member 1 is subjected to molding processing so as to have a large number of protruding and recessed parts and circular arc-shaped recessed parts are used as molten resin passages and circular arc- shaped protruding parts 5 are supported so as to come into contact with the radially arranged rods 7 of a support and a molten resin is filtered from the outside in the radius direction of the filter member to the inside as shown by an arrow.
