<p>PURPOSE:To surely prevent a strip from slipping by deciding a slip occurring stand through a compact control system and correcting a peripheral speed reference value with an adequate value in the slip occurring stand. CONSTITUTION:Each peripheral speed of upper and lower work rolls 1, 2 in each stand and a strip speed on the outlet side are measured, an advance coefficient in each work roll 1, 2 is calculated by these measured values, a slip occurring stand is decided based on these advance coefficients and when a difference between the advance coefficients exceeds a set value, the peripheral speed reference values of the work rolls 1, 2 in the slip occurring stand are corrected to drive the work rolls.</p> |
