Treatment of addictive behavior, depression or manic depressive behavior, excluding obesity, is described in which an effective amount of at least one serotonin agonist and at least one dopamine agonist is administered to a patient. The combination of the serotonin agonist and the dopamine agonist are present in an amount effective to treat the patient's addictive behavior. Pharmaceutical compositions are also disclosed. |
