PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic tire for a snow-and-ice-covered road by which performance to travel on the ice can be improved without deteriorating performance to travel on the snow. CONSTITUTION:In a pneumatic tire for a snow-and-ice-covered road constituted in such a way that plural main grooves 2 extending in the circumferential direction of the tire are arranged on a tread, and at least a single rib 4 is divided and formed by these main grooves 2, and a large number of curfs 6 extending in the width direction of the tire are arranged on this rib 4, an actual ground contact area ratio of the tread 1 is set not leass than 70%, and a groove inside pattern 7 composed of plural projecting parts 8 divided at least in the circumferential direction of the tire is arranged in the main grooves 2, and a land area ratio of this groove inside pattern 7 is set in 40-60%. |
