PURPOSE:To obtain a coating composition which has good adhesiveness to the surface of a base material and can form a coating film excellent in resistance to whitening by water, stain resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, etc. CONSTITUTION:This coating composition is obtained by mixing a resin composition consisting of an acrylic resin having at least one tertiary amino group in the molecule and an acrylic resin having at least one hydroxyl group in the molecule with curing agents comprising: an isocyanate compound and a compound containing at least one epoxy group or both an epoxy group and a hydrolyzable silyl group in the molecule; or an isocyanate compound, a compound containing at least one epoxy group or both an epoxy group and a hydrolyzable silyl group in the molecule, and a compound having a hydrolyzable silyl group and/or a silanol group in the molecule. The obtained composition cures by adding a hydrolysis and condensation catalyst thereto if necessary. |
