<p>PURPOSE:To offer a secondary exciter for an AC excited synchronous machine that enables system-voltage sustaining operation and load reduction when a generator breaker is turned off. CONSTITUTION:An operation switching circuit 25 is switched to a slip r.p.m. setter 16 in accordance with an operation switching command from an ordinary operation to system voltage sustaining operation, in order to reduce a slip S, and a control switching circuit 10 is switched to a reactive power control circuit 24 to calculate a command reactive power according to a system voltage VL with a command reactive power arithmetic circuit 27 in accordance with the specified system voltage vs. reactive power characteristics, thereby outputting a d-axis control command from the reactive power control circuit 24.</p> |
