PURPOSE:To provide a lithium secondary battery which has high safety and high energy density. CONSTITUTION:A lithium secondary battery consists of, at least, a lithium negative electrode active material 101, a separator 108, a positive electrode active material 103, electrolyte 105, collectors 102, 107 and a battery case 109. The electrolyte contains at least perfluorocarbon of fluoride inactive liquid and flame retardant material of phosphide. In this way, the lithium secondary battery, using metal lithium for the negative electrode active material, can be manufactured which has high energy density and safety even after charge and discharge are repeated. |
