The invention relates to a wiper device in the embodiment with at least one window-wiper strip which is protected prior to the vehicle being removed from the warehouse by a removable protective profile (10). The protective profile (10) has two limbs (13, 14) which are extended by longitudinal lips (15, 16), the length of which is longer than the length of the grooves (12) of the wiper blade (4). At least one of the lips (15, 16) has at each of its ends a protuberance (17 to 19) which protrudes with respect to one of the surfaces of the lip (15, 16). The invention furthermore relates to a protective profile and to a method for the production of such a protective profile. Use: motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
