The invention relates to an electrophotographic photoconductor which contains an interlayer between an electroconductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. The interlayer comprises a cured film produced by curing an amino resin by means of a catalyst containing an aromatic sulfonic acid, an alicyclic sulfonic acid, a mixture thereof or a latent acid thereof, for achieving good image qualities without any interference with the image-generation process being caused.
