An air-duct line which can also withstand collision blows without damage is provided for mining, tunnelling and construction in rock, to which end a buffer element is arranged between the air ducts or between the air ducts and the booster fan. This buffer element consists of two largely flexurally rigid coupling flanges and an air-duct section arranged in between and extendible to a limited extent, for example a spiral air duct to which tension springs are allocated concentrically. <IMAGE>
