Policosanol is used as a natural antihistamine and can be used for preventing or treating allergic rhinitis, inflammatory bowel diseases, asthma, bronchitis, vomiting, stomach and duodenal ulcer, gastoesophegal reflux diseases, sleep disturbance, anxiety, and depression, and has the advantages of further reducing sleep latency and increasing sleep time.
