<p>PURPOSE:To curtail the regeneration cost of washing liquid by lessening the amount of washing liquid to be discharged to the outside of washing tower by performing the quantitative discharge of washing liquid stored in the bottom of washing tower and also the quantitative charge of washing liquid into the washing tower. CONSTITUTION:The gas 1 to be treated is introduced from the inlet 12 of the washing tower 2 into the washing tower 2 where it is washed with the washing liquid 5 injected from the sprayer 4 in the packed layer 3 provided inside. The gas 1 washed in the packed layer 3 is passed through the demister 6 to remove droplets and then discharged from the gas exhaust port 13 as the treated gas 7. On the other hand, the washing liquid 5 used is stored at the bottom of the washing 2 and then recycled to the sprayer 4 by the pump 14. Also, the washing liquid at the bottom is discharged quantitatively by the exhaust pump 15 and the chemical 9 and the fresh water 10 are supplied quantitatively for regenerating the washing liquid.</p> |
