PURPOSE:To simplify the construction and operation by changing the operations of an electronic circuit in accordance with the contacting time between the electronic circuit and a contact portion which is coactive with an externally actuating member. CONSTITUTION:When a battery voltage reduction detecting unit 8 predicts a malfunction, an externally actuating member 5 is actuated to operate a timer or counter 6. Then, in case the contacting time is an input shorter than a timer preset time, a frequency-dividing circuit 2 is not reset, but a subsequent timer of counter 7 is operated to generate such an output as subsequently operate a battery life control circuit 9. When a longer time signal input that the preset time of the timer 6 continues, this timer 6 reset the frequcncy-dividing circuit 2. In the case of the normal battery voltage, therefore, it is only when a winding stem is brought into contact with a single time resetting pin that a second hand can be advanced twice for a step shorter than 1/10 secong in a similar manner to that when the voltage is lowered. Thus, the actuation from the outside can be simplified. |
