摘要 |
PURPOSE: To increase bloodstream from endocardium to myocardium without using original diseased coronary artery by irradiating a sufficient quantity of energy to form at least one channel to the inside of cardiac muscle in the wall of ventricle from a channel-formation energy emitter within the ventricle. CONSTITUTION: A cardiac muscle revascularization device has at least one lumen and is equipped with a catheter 22. An energy source such as laser 28 is connected to optical fiber 30. A quantity of energy sufficient enough to increase a bloodstream from endocardium to cardiac muscle is irradiated by inserting into the venticle and placing adjacent to the wall of the ventricle, a catheter 22 having a lumen housing optical fiber 30 which radiates energy from its tail end and by forming a channel into the cardiac muscle within the wall of the ventricle. Further, this process is repeated in order to form a channel to a different sectional position of the wall of the ventricle. |
