PURPOSE:To obtain an accepting layer transfer sheet and a method for producing the accepting layer transfer sheet for realizing elimination of problems in a prior art and transfer of a nondefective dye accepting layer to a transfer medium in transfer of a transferrable resin layer. CONSTITUTION:In an accepting layer transfer sheet formed by providing a transferrable resin layer containing a dye accepting layer on a surface of a continuous-length substrate film, an accepting layer transfer sheet with the area of the resin layer containing an antifoamer and the production method thereof.
