PURPOSE:To enable a car body frame member to be filled easily with foam by a method wherein a foamable sheet is fixed to at least one side face of a steel sheet, the foamable sheet fixed to the steel sheet is made inside, and a sectional space part is formed with an outer panel and an inner panel. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped notch is applied to one side press worked steel sheet 2a, and the steel sheet 3 of the notch part is folded back inside. Thereafter, the steel sheet 3 of the notch part is inserted into a hole 5 of a foamable sheet 4, further bent, and the foamable sheet 4 is fixed to the steel sheet 2a. Then, the steel sheet 2a to which the foamable sheet 4 is fixed and the steel sheet 2b to which the foamable steel sheet is not fixed, are combined to form a pillar form. Then, the foamable sheet 4 fixed to the steel sheets 2a, 2b which are made pillar-formed is heated. The foamable sheet 4 fixed to an inside front surface of the steel sheet 2a is foamed by heating and expanded three dimensionally. The foam reaching the steel sheet 2b facing the steel sheet 2a is formed. |
