PURPOSE:To automatically set, according to the quality or thickness of each type of packaging material, the temperature at which the packaging material is fused, the time required for fusing and the time required for cooling after fusing. CONSTITUTION:A bar code for identifying the quality and thickness of a packaging material is printed on the surface of the packaging material in advance. When the packaging material is used, the input 27 of the information is applied to a central processing part 28 by touching the bar cade with a scanner 26, information prestored in a storage device 25 is fetched, and a command signal 30 is transmitted to a voltage converter 31. As a result, a voltage applied to the heater 17 of a sealing bar 16 which fuses the packaging material 10 is adjusted by the voltage converter 31 to control the temperature of the heater 17 according to the quality of the packaging material. |
