The device uniformly performs discharging between the two electrodes, and obtains the maximization of screen by the plasma addressing method. The device includes the 1st and 2nd substrates which has liquid crystal, a data electorde of the stripe shaped, the 3rd substrates which has the groove, 1st (210) and 2nd (220) electrodes which generates the plasma discharge on the groove, a bus line (211) connecting to one of the 1st and 2nd electordes (210)(220), resistor lines (212) connecting to the bus line (211) and formed between 1st electrode and bus line thus not generating the voltage drop.
