The method defrosts the evaprator in the refrigerator by use of a first defrosting sensor, and after that, continues to defrost the cooling chamber by repetitively enacting the defrosting operation by use of a second defrosting sensor. The defrosting method includes a step (300) of operating cooling action by driving a compression; a step (301) of accumulating compressor drive time; a step (302) of determining the defrosting start time based on the above accumulation time; a step (303) of stopping the compressor; a step (304) of defrosting the evaprator; a step (305) of counting the number of the above defrosting action step (304); a step (307) of continuing the defrosting action until the temperature of the first defrosting sensor arrives at a defrosting off temperature; a step (308) of repetitively operating the defrosting action based on determining that the temp. of the first sensor is the same as that of the second sensor.
