The invention relates to a sound-insulating door unit, of the type comprising a door leaf (200) and a door frame (100). The door leaf comprises a peripheral frame (201, 202) mounted so that it closes on the door frame and delimits a central opening, two facing panels (217, 218) fixed on the frame, and a sound-insulating composite structure mounted in the said central opening between the two facing panels. According to the invention, the composite structure comprises: a central part (210-212) comprising at least one layer (211, 212) of soft low-density insulating material, and on either side of the said central part, two rigid and dense panels (215, 216) having different critical resonant frequencies, in particular different thicknesses. <IMAGE>
