<p>PURPOSE:To coordinate operations of an engine and an AC generator by multiplying a state signal indicating the condition of an engine with a preset weighting coefficient and control the duty ratio of a field current of the AC generator depending on such multiplied value. CONSTITUTION:A controller 4A reads an operating condition of an engine from a state signal 40, reads a battery terminal voltage 3A from the battery 3, determines the optimum target battery terminal voltage and computes a deviation from the readout actual voltage. Moreover, a difference between the preceding actual voltage and current actual voltage, this obtained value is multiplied with a preset weighting coefficient, thereafter an output value indicating a value of a field current If flowing into a field coil 1b of the AC generator 1 is computed. A drive duty ratio of the field current If is obtained with this output value used as a parameter and the field current If is flown to the field coil 1b. As a result, the field current can be controlled depending on the state of engine and operations of the power generator can be started without giving a large load on the engine.</p> |
