The invention relates to a device for taking samples of flowing material or material set in flowing motion, which material contains solids, the said device comprising a sampling member 4, arranged in contact with the flowing material, and a sample pipe 5, connected to the sampling member 4, for forwarding for further treatment the sample flow passing through the sampling member 4.
